Question by Anti nuke: Am I able to make my account on xbox live the only one enabled for map packs from MW3 hardened edition?
I want to buy the MW3 hardened edition, but my brother does not. I know that it is $ 20 cheaper than only buying the map packs themselves and also know that we will get them for sure, but I don’t want him getting the perks from me paying for it. Also, I doubt this is possible, but if I could stop him from using any of the other perks, that would be great.

No, I don’t think so. Once a map pack has been downloaded onto the Xbox 360 Hard Drive, any Gamer Tags/Accounts saved onto that Xbox 360 Hard Drive will have access to those map packs.

HOWEVER! I have a theory that might help you with what you want. You can try and get one of those Xbox 360 memory sticks, cheap Hard drives, USB Drives, etc. and save your Gamer Tag onto it along with all your Modern Warfare 3 save data and downloaded content. Basically, keep your Gamer Tag, Modern Warfare 3 data, and Modern Warfare 3 Downloads in that memory stick and keep it to yourself and hide it away from your brother if you really don’t want to share it with him. So whenever you want to play Modern Warfare 3 along with your downloaded maps, just plug in the memory stick and access the content from that storage device. So if your brother ever turns back to you asking for a map pack, then you can charge him a small fee for each map pack and can give him a copy. Again, this is a small theory not sure if it can work out that way, can try testing it out with a different game like Modern Warfare 2 or something. Good luck.

  1. Cycle Says:

Modern Warfare 3 sees the return of the much loved spec ops mode. These mini games and challenges are highly addictive and push the Call of Duty gaming style to its adrenalin filled limit. We were lucky to get a play through survival mode, which is not unlike Gears of War 3′s horde mode. Essentially you are tasked with defeating wave after wave of enemies, including juggernauts and yes…dogs. Not easy but incredibly rewarding.
