Call of Duty World at War PC downloaded torrent won’t start single player. Can you help?

I have install Call of Duty World at War and the crack but when I got in the game and clicked on the first mission then chose recruit but nothing happened. Every time I’d click recruit the game would not start. Can anyone tell me why?

    try multi player if that works then its just that u download the wrong thin other than that just try to download another i no its goin to b a drag if ur internet is slow

    1. Navigate to the folder :

    XP users :
    C:Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\

    Vista users : C:Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players\profiles\

    2.Delete all the folders in there.

    3.Create a new folder with the name of the Profile (folder remains empty)

    4.Create text file: active.txt (must NOT be readonly)

    5.Open active.txt and type in your profile folder name
