Hm, when Abed and Troy say “… but the prize”, is this a reference to Mass Effect 2 Jacob? Probably not, because I think the episode was aired before the game was released, but I like to think of it in this way.

@purplux i was under the impression at the time that it was gonna be an annual thing. Like Christmas and Halloween and midterms and all that stuff. I mean we are following people through a school and this seemed like an event the dean would want to hold annually. You need to honestly think of yourself as following the lives of these guys through this community college and think about what would and wouldn’t happen. Not see everything that happens as some random gag.
