Yes. the Call of Duty series Modern Warfare 3, Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2, all have set first day sales record. MW3 has achieved another milestone than the two, breaking its own earlier records in the series. In first 24 hours around 6.5 million units of MW3 have been sold in UK and North America alone. Just imagine the total volume across the world.

Yes, they did. They made $ 400 million black ops made $ 360 million in same time period.
