Question by : How to become amazing at modern warfare 2 ?
Sorry my names not lisa , I am on my sisters account . Any way I am a big fan if modern warfare 2 , I am alright at it but my friends are amazing at it . They dont always like playing with me because i am not very good .I want away to become better . Any videos , or tips on guns or anything else please , Thank you .

Well, You just have to keep playing it.
Look up on youtube how to be good at mw2.
Once you play it enough, ((make sure you have that special gun))
You’ll get better at it.
Trust me, ive learned fom personal experience. (:

Only advice: Play it. You’ll learn as you go. If you “boost”, you’ll be able to unlock weapons and level up faster, but will be shunned by the community. I suggest the following class:
Primary – UMP45 Silenced
Seconday – Striker w/ Grip
Equipment – Claymore
Special Grenade – Flashbang
Perk 1 – Scavanger Pro
Perk 2 – Hardline
Perk 3 – Steady Aim Pro
Death Streak – Pain Killer
This is the class I use, I usually go (average) 20-0-4.
Just keep playing until you feel comfortable.

MW2 along with most shooting games is alll about play time, Learning the maps, Spots, where and where they will not be and getting down your shooting, I guess to speed things up to get better would be to go into a private match and look around the map, Holes to shoot out of and angles to shoot from. Playing Search and Destroy a little got me alot better in TDM and all the other game modes it might for you

Well basically by just playing a bunch and finding a gun that works for you.

Practice makes perfect. The best way to improve is to play against people that are better than you and learning from mistakes.
Other tips
UAV is your friend, use it to your advantage.
If you spot an enemy UAV, try to shoot it down from cover.
If you see a predator, split from the group.
Walk crouching or use ninja when close to enemies.
Make use of your flash bangs and stun grenades.
Keep moving, don’t wait too long in the same place because you’ll make yourself an easy target.
Don’t camp in the same places, you’ll get found out when they respawn. Keep your tactics fresh.
FAMAS with stopping power kills with one burst at the body, it’s a nice gun to use and it’s very accurate.
SCAR-H with stopping power is pretty cool if you don’t like burst power and prefer automatic.
Everyone has their own preference, experiment and find the ones that suit you and your style of play.
If you want to get better, keep playing it online and you’ll soon start to improve as a player. No point practicing against the game, because the computer’s nothing like a real human player.

knowing the maps is big. using UAVs until your better will help you and your team. the SCAR kills pretty quickly. Some of the other answers had some valuable comments but if you want to watch a skilled player that doesn’t camp watch Hutch. In the link is a video titled “How not to suck at MW2″. Watch it and then watch the rest of his videos.

Just practice. The more you practice, the better you will be. Good guns i use a lot are the Barret or Intervention for sniping, ACR and Scar for my assault, and riot shields to screw with people. Also you should make a stealth class. they are good. If you want add me on xbox if u play my name is ACR pwn AGE

Here’s what you should do. You should set your button layout to tactical and move strategically around the map or not move at all. the famas and scar are really good guns for beginners and so is the RPD with a foregrip. watch killcams to see how other people do stuff and learn new hiding spots. also, painkiller and stopping power are really good for people just starting out and use ninja and heartbeat monitor if you can. the best secondary is the spas 12. I know a lot, i’ve gotten 44 nukes legit.

practice is everything, use one gun until u are good with it and perks that u r comfortable with
