My xbox will not work with the Modern warfare 2 multiplayer. But when i put it in my dads xbox it works fine. What could be the problem and how can i fix it?

There are three problems that I can think of:

1. Your X-Box is defective.

2. Your X-Box profile does not have X-Box Live.

3. Your X-Box has parental controls preventing you from playing Modern Warfare 2.
