What Modern Warfare 2 secondary weapon for a sniper class?

i just got modern warfare 2 and i am making a sniper class. the only problem is i dont know which secondary weapon i should use? i was thinking either the PP2000 machine piston or the Franchi SPAS-12 shotgun.

    Use a silenced Machine pistol, or when you level up use the AA-12 silenced

    i would use the PP2000… until you get the M93 Raffica. Its BEAST

    Akimbo Raffica, stupidly powerfull… I use it for nearly all close quarters shooting…

    it may be semi automatic, but 3 shots is enough to kill… and with akimbo, you rack off twice as mouch lead..

    my friend only snipes and he really likes the PP2000 so i gave it a shot when i was a low level and its very impressive for a secondary weapon. try it, i personally much prefer one man army and just switch between a sniper and the tar-21 :P i like the tar its a great weapon if you can control the recoil.

    Any type of SMG or shotgun, depending on your personal preferance, someting thats very close to a primary weapon in itself.

    It really depends what map you’re on. If its a map like Skidrow it would be better to use a shotgun like SPAS-12 because it has good range. If you’re on a map which has less CQC (Close Quarters Combat) e.g. Wasteland or Afghan it would be better to use PP2000 or any other Machine Pistol but I personally prefer PP2000.

    PP2000 is also great at CQC but it depends which one you’re better.

    Its quicker to swap to a normal pistol like .44 magnum so if you’re good with pistols you could use that instead. (USP.45 akimbo is beast)

    At the moment, if your a lower level (34 and under), use the PP2000, as a lot of others suggested. when you progress, the secondary weapon becaomes less of a fighting weapon to more of a defensive weapon. You’ll use it to thwart enemies that have found your nest. For this, I highly recommend the AA-12 or Ranger shotguns. They have the capability of killing in one shot, which is ideal if you’re caught off guard.

    THE ideal secondary would be either Akimbo Rangers, or a silenced AA-12.
